Gaza on brink of humanitarian crisis due to power cuts 

Prolonged power cuts are disrupting medical services, bringing the situation in Gaza closer to a humanitarian disaster. Gaza’s sole power generating plant stopped working last week after Israel refused to allow fuel into the coastal strip. Rights groups have warned of the catastrophic impact of the long power cuts.
